Vinny and Eric were BEYOND AMAZING!!! I am extremely satisfied with Split Second Sound. I went to a wedding back in 2005 and the DJ was so energetic and awesome at what he was doing. Whenever I go to weddings, I always analyze the DJ and music (I am a musician and majored in music in college). I was blown away at how the DJ was getting people to interact and I really liked his song choices. I talked to him for a bit and got his card. I said that night to my friend, "Whenever I get married, I'm using this company. I don't care what city I'm in, I'm using them!!!" She thought I was crazy, but who's talking now! I kept that card in my nightstand drawer for 5 years! When I got engaged last year, I knew who to call first! I was praying that Split Second was still a company. Luckily, the company had only grown to be bigger and better!! Austin and I met with Vinny and we were sold in the first 2 minutes. We didn't even consider another DJ or entertainer. As picky and detail oriented as I am, Austin was in disbelief that I picked out a DJ that quick- especially since music was our number one priority for the wedding. Austin is also a musician and plays in a band, so he had a lot of opinions to music-wise. But, he loved Split Second Sound from the beginning and it was smooth sailing to the wedding. Split Second had me fill out a form to let Vinny know more about my family and Austin's family so Vinny could get a feel of how he would work with getting them involved. Vinny asked us a lot of questions and covered every detail imaginable. That made me realize that he really cared that our wedding night would be flawless and truly amazing. Vinny was always one step ahead of me and made the planning process a piece of cake. Literally, nothing went wrong. My wedding was way better than I ever imagined and I owe it to Vinny. I still have people coming up to me telling me it was the best wedding that they had ever been to and that my DJ was awesome. I recommend Split Second Sound to everyone, not only because they're genuine, fun, and smart, but also because they really know what they're doing, they take their job seriously, they are organized and knowledgeable, and they really care about your special day! I wouldn't have made any changes to my wedding- and that's saying a lot! I could go on for hours about how perfect it was and how much fun the reception was!!!!! Thank you Vinny and Eric!!!

By far the best DJ I have ever seen...our guests were on their feet all night... Even some of our waiters would dance as they passed through the dance floor, and my husband's 80+ year old grandparents were on the dance floor for most of the night... Two of my bridesmaids have requested his card for their weddings. Everyone commented on how good Vinnie and his assistant were...So many people came up to me after to say "That DJ was awesome"...and "I've never had so much fun..." We took Vinnie's suggestions on when events should take place (and in what order), and the night was perfect...we knew he was worth every penny from the moment the introductions started. He knows how to make the night flow from one event to the next and what works best to get the crowd involved... Also, one of my pet peeves at a wedding is when the music is so loud that you can't carry a conversation with other guests. I was concerned about this with our venue since our ballroom was on the smaller side, but this was not a problem with Vinnie...The music was just loud enough to get people up and dancing, but quiet enough that they could easily carry a conversation when not dancing. Vinnie has a unique way of getting people involved...I HIGHLY recommend him!!!!

  Adam and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding the best party that we and our guests have EVER been to! Vinny was our DJ that evening and everything went off with out a hitch. Many times you hear stories about brides that were hassled by their DJ at their reception just to make sure their time line was in order, this was not the case with Vinny. He is extremely professional and dedicated to making sure the party doesn't stop. There was not an empty seat at our reception and we credit that to Vinny's music selection. He has the ability to read the crowd and kept everybody dancing the entire night. We also appreciate that Vinny met with our wedding coordinator, as well as us a few days prior to the wedding to ensure that he had every detail in order. The Split Second team even assisted us with putting our slide show together.... it was amazing!! 

  When we first got engaged, Adam and I agreed that the DJ was going to be one of the most important details for our wedding and we couldn't have made a better choice than Vinny & Split Second Sound. It was truly the best party we have ever been to!

We wanted to take a minute to thank you for a OUTSTANDING performance Saturday at our daughters wedding at the Levine Museum of the New South.  At the end of the evening, it was rushed and we did not get a chance to thank Joe and Eddie personally. We would go as far as to say they made the party ! They made sure everything moved smoothly and got everyone up and dancing. Thanks for a terrific performance, you were wonderful !!

I know this might be a little late but I wanted to let you know that we really appreciate your company and how awesome everybody was from the moment we first met at the office all the way through the wedding. Your guys were seamless and professional and I could not have asked for a better company to work with. Thank you so much for everything.

Our event was FABULOUS!!!!  Eric, Neil and Rashaad were amazing as were the party motivators.  We have not stopped talking about how great they were and how they kept the kids and adults engaged the entire evening.  In addition, they took control of the night and made my life so much easier so that I could actually enjoy the event. I was so thrilled with them that I cannot say enough good things or give enough compliments.

We just wanted to write a quick email thanking Rashad, and your company, for making our wedding day an absolute blast!

Not only did Rashaad play the music we asked, he kept the crowd upbeat while also facilitating the tedious details of the reception.  We had met with Rashaad prior to the event and felt as if he would do a great job- but he exceeded our wildest expectations.  After the wedding, the guests raved about how fun he was and how they had never been to a wedding where the D.J. worked so hard and added so much pizazz to the night.  He brings a sense of humor to his work, a trait that our crowd really loved.  Long story short, he was a hit with everyone at the reception (even the waiters and waitresses).

We are confident in saying that without Rashaad, our night may not have been so much fun- nor gone as smoothly as it did.

Joey and Levar were amazing.  They made my wedding reception flow perfectly and I couldn't have asked for better DJ's. I was very pleased and would recommend Split Second to all of my friends and family.

I just wanted to take a minute to rave about Jonah!  He was simply amazing at our wedding and we couldn't have asked for anything more! He was so much fun and helped us from start to finish whether it was with song selection or figuring out the order of how we wanted things to go.  He was always happy to help and so nice!  We loved him and so did our guests!  We have people still talking about how nice it was for him to walk around and see what other people wanted to hear at the reception.  He played everything we asked him to and he kept up with us to make sure we knew what was going on and what we should be doing next, which was awesome. I seriously can't thank you enough for letting us have him for our wedding, it was absolutely amazing, fun and everything that we wanted! Thank you thank you!!

They were the absolute best!! Neil really went above and beyond for us. I sent him a lot of information, song requests, and he was just great with the music. And Rashaad was the life of the party—everyone loved him!

Rashaad did a great job making sure everything was covered. We had a bunch of conversations prior to the event to ensure that all the songs we wanted were played and to make sure he understood how the reception was gonna flow. He could not have done a better job! He was on top of things from the onset.  He did a great job getting everyone involved and kept the reception upbeat.  We were hoping for more of a party atmosphere rather than some stiff gathering and he was able to give us just that.

I would definitely use them again for an event or recommend them to a friend needing DJ services!  All of our expectations were met and exceeded! Mellisa and I can't thank Rashaad and Eddie enough for doing a great job at the reception. We had a great time and everyone we talk to tells us the same.

Everything was wonderful! Joey is absolutely wonderful, of course! He was there super early to make sure everything ran perfectly, and it did. He did exactly what he said he would do-- which was make sure the day was exactly how the bride and groom wanted it to be!
