Joey

Joey's love for DJing began at the age of 15, while on a family trip to Italy. There he had the opportunity to DJ on a local radio station everyday for two months. From there he knew this is something he wanted to do. At age 19 he started DJing with a friends company on Long Island, NY, learning more and more, and his passion grew even more. He loved the live scene, the club scene, but all the while, knowing what he wanted to prefect. Becoming a great DJ.  Being born and raised on Long Island, one of his friends growing up had a sister (Diane Esposito). Hence the connection was made to Split Second Sound. In 2003, he decided to move to Charlotte, N.C. and officially became a part of the still growing Split Second Family.

            As one of the original four members, joining Vinny, Neil and Jonathan, his experience grew and so has his expectations. He has always strived to make each and every event special, always wanting to make things perfect, from the moment he arrive and set up his equipment, to handling all details. We all tell Joey he's metro because he's so perfect with everything. The look, the set up, his look, how he handles things, he dreams of perfection. Hence the nick name “Joey Dreamer”. All joking aside, he will be the one that can make your dream wedding reception happen.  He is considered on of the most versatile MC/DJ's (who can do announcements in Italian), play every music style, dance if he needs to, or just mix a smooth party....Joey can do it all.
