We don’t just provide entertainment... We create it!

is originally from New Jersey and it’s there where he broke into the professional Mobile DJ scene. Although he does not have a music degree or was never in a band, Dennis was always the guy that handled the music. From turning his parents garage into a make shift club early in high school, hosting “house” parties in college, to huge backyard events… it was all about the music. “DennisFest” was his brain child. It encompassed a live band, a ton of people, fireworks and Dennis spinning the tunes for an annual all-day/night party at the house. Like most mobile DJ’s, Dennis started working for a company. He listened to the advice of his family and friends and went off on his own, creating Life’s A Party DJ Entertainment. Dennis has a passion and respect for what he does. His enjoyment comes from people having fun at his parties. His business model was simple: give people exactly what they want, involve them in the planning process and deliver the best performance. In June 2009, It was apparent that he shares many of the same business philosophies and visions as Vinny and Diane. Dennis decided to bring his DJ business over to Split Second Sound DJ Services. Together they have embodied the spirit of a full service company that goes beyond just being a DJ. Dennis is also involved in charitable events that give back to the Charlotte community. He is one of the organizers of an annual golf outing that benefits A Child's Place here in Charlotte, NC. A Child’s Place works to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education. Dennis regularly volunteers his services to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He’s provided entertainment and was the MC for the Stride and Ride event, brought the Wii party to the Muscle Team event at the Bank of America stadium and does a Dance Party for the MDA summer camp.

On Saturday October 15th I was at the Ballantyne Hotel for a wedding. My bride and groom are ballroom dancers and they looked like they were floating on the dance floor. Sarah Hall was the planner and it was great working with her and Elizabeth.Sunday October 16th we were at the Firethorn Country Club, another great location to have a wedding or a party. The staff is amazingly efficient and Pam is always great to work with. My bride, Anna Maria, was simply stunning and her groom Corey was looking good too. We had a custom monogram over the fireplace and it looked awesome!More fun coming up this weekend!... read more »

Last night was an amazing reception at Bontera Resturant in Charlotte, its an old church that has a lot of "old time" class and style. As usual the food was amazing. The party was rocking and they had us stay late. I know its a great party when the staff is dancing. We worked with Indigo Photography, Mimi and Jay are a pleasure to work with. Danielle was my assistant and she was great. The bride wore blue shoes with a peacock feather, i never seen shoes so amazing!Today Ben and I are heading to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC for another wedding reception. Working with Asheville Events who are always fun to work with.I'm expecting more of the same fun and good time as we had last night.I love to DJ and create lasting memories!... read more »

Saturday September 10th and Saturday September 17 I found myself at the Duke Mansion. Both weddings had over 100 guests at each event. The Duke Mansion is a wonderful location for a ceremony and reception plus they have rooms for guests to stay over night. Special thanks to Amanda Pagano from Isabels Corner Video for coming out to shoot us in action last night. Eye Dialog provided upligts around the room and also had stars and a moon illuminated on the ceiling. The staff at Duke is amazing and lead by Jessica (I'm DJing her wedding in November) and also Dianna, they keep the food service moving in an efficient manner and we keep the music and flow of the event going.Split Second did the first wedding at Duke and we continue to be the number one DJ at the Duke Mansion.Duke Mansion along with Split Second Sound is an amazing combination...... read more »

A great weekend... On Friday I was at Raintree Country Club for a Sweet 16 party- a pool party! The kids had a blast and they danced to traditional Greek songs after singing happy birthday.Saturday brought me to Firethorn Country Club for a wedding that had unique introductions, a wedding cake that traveled from Ohio and a lot of dancing. On Sunday I got to work with Vinny Esposito at the Holiday Inn Uptown. A ceremony on the roof top and reception in the ballroom. Folks danced the night away till Midnight and it was a Sunday. Now that's a good time.I'm looking forward to my weddings this weekend. Im fortunate to be a part of such a special day in so many lives, creating memories that last forever!... read more »
