While the package you purchase may range between 3 and 6 hours, a "full service" DJ company will normally invest 12-20 hours or more towards your special event. With advance meetings, questions, exchanging of ideas, and input from you and the guest of honor, we can plan and execute the perfect event. All of this adds up to the overall success of your special occasion.

Travel: Split Second Sound, located in Charlotte, NC, will travel anywhere from New York to Florida!
Any location over 50 miles from the SSS Main Office in uptown Charlotte will be charged at $.75/mile round-trip.
Some locations may require an overnight fee depending on the event end time and distance.

Ceremony Sound and Music.
prelude music for 20 to 30 minutes, coordination of processional songs,

a singer/someone reading scriptures, Lapels mics are available.
We also offer portable and "quiet" generators for ceremonies in locations (beach, open fields, park, etc) when no power is available.
Split Second Sound is working with Key Signature Entertainment; a talent buying company that provides Solo Artists, Jazz Trios, Quartets, and bands.
Now you can add a solo artist to your ceremony and cocktail hour or a jazz trio/quartets to your ceremony, or ceremony and cocktail hour.
You can also add a band to your 6 hour DJ package! This includes a 2 Person DJ Crew, Band, announcements and music during cocktail hour, dinner, & reception!
